XIX Genetics Congress

With a thoughtfully prepared programme of dancers, singers and musicians showcasing the Asia Pacific region, and a keen awareness of the beauty inherent in the flowing double helix structure of DNA, the seamless performance included a 30 metre Chinese Dragon weaving spectacularly through the audience and the mesmerising, chrysalis-like transformation of a lone performance artist into a butterfly against the visually stunning backdrop of a cell dividing- life begins! This striking image was captured and featured on the front page of ‘The Age' the following day.
