Orana Chamber Orchestra

In the early and mid 90s, professionally trained immigrant musicians and composers predominantly from Eastern Europe arrived in Melbourne. ORANA was founded out of the need to provide services and create performance opportunities for these musicians.

The organisational profile although slightly out of date and perhaps no longer relevant to ORANA is an indication of the achievements and objectives of ORANA up until the end of 1997.

Even through ORANA successfully served its purpose, it still performed right up until the year 2000.

The historical profile lists all concerts ORANA has appeared in.
